Curriculum Design and Refinement
Is your literacy instruction directly tied to the Common Core State Standards and the Science of Reading? Do teachers have curriculum maps that are easy to follow? Are you using IABs to guide instruction? Do parents and other stakeholders know what is going on in your building and know how to support students outside of school? If you answered no to any of these, I can help!
Instructional Coaching
An effective teacher is critical.
I work with teachers directly, building relationships and establishing trust, in order to help them to further perfect their craft. Using walkthroughs, informal observations, and modeling, we collaborate to identify strengths and weaknesses and create a plan to improve student learning outcomes.
